GREENSBORO SERVICE INDUSTRY FOR WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA
BeLoved Asheville is distributing food, water, sanitary items, and other necessities to needy people around Western North Carolina and surrounding areas.
This past weekend, Hurricane Helene wreaked absolute havoc in the North Carolina mountains. It's hard to imagine the scope and scale of this natural disaster, especially along the spine of the Appalachians which are more remote and difficult to traverse than most of the country, even on a good day. We’re heartbroken for our friends, family, colleagues, and really just anyone in WNC who is in need and suffering right now.
We’ve come together as a collective of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and other service industry businesses to help raise funds for BeLoved Asheville (belovedasheville.com), an organization dedicated to creating home, health, equity, and opportunity for all in Western NC. In light of recent events, BeLoved Asheville is expanding their efforts and distributing food, water, and other supplies to communities throughout Western North Carolina, as well as organizing volunteers to help with this necessary lifeline to the over 1 million residents of the North Carolina mountains affected by this historically devastating storm.
Here’s a list of service industry friends participating in this collective fundraiser:
Please consider visiting one or more of these businesses as they will all be donating a percentage of their profits and proceeds to help those in need in Western North Carolina.
Or you can donate directly to one of these organizations currently providing supplies and assistance to Western North Carolina:
